First up in CMAC’s 2026 Deep Winter & Spring LISTENING ROOM CONCERT SERIES: Experience a powerful fusion of poetry and music at the Rocky Mountain premiere of composer Evan Mack’s new work, drawn from poet Alicia Cook’s acclaimed collection STUFF I’VE BEEN FEELING LATELY marking 10 years since its debut.
The evening opens with Alicia reading selections of her poetry, followed by a brief artist process conversation moderated by Heather Brophy, leading into the musical performance by Evan at the piano w/ Megan Marino, mezzo-soprano.

Meg continues in her role as Executive Director of the Creede Musical Arts Collective (CMAC), leading the organization into another exciting summer season. This year’s Westward Bound lineup features world-class artists from across the U.S. and beyond, with music ranging from plainchant to Hawaiian steel guitar—and everything in between.
The season includes mainstage concerts, town barn dances, educational and "edutainment" experiences for all ages, children's activities, collaborations with local organizations and businesses, and performances in a wide variety of venues. It kicks off on May 26 with a Memorial Day sing-along hike and runs through September 5, 2025.
